Current Research

Richard's current research is focused on understanding the human motivations in connection to morphological characteristics of Stone Age tools. He is attentive mostly to the Acheulean industry in Europe. He is also interested in the application of neural networks in analyzing three-dimensional high-volume datasets.

 

Research Experience: 

Worked for the Radiocarbon Preparation Lab in association with the Accelerated Mass Spectrometry Lab at The Pennsylvania State University in dating faunal remains from Mesoamerican sites.
