Student Opportunities

Student presenting their research

At GW, anthropology students are immersed in one-of-a-kind learning experiences. They may choose to intern in the nation's top museums or international development organizations. Or, they may pursue groundbreaking archaeological excavation at Koobi Fora Field School and other sites around the world.

On campus, many students conduct independent research studies alongside faculty in our cutting-edge labs based out of the Center for the Advanced Study of Human Paleobiology
