Elise's research interests span cultural studies, Pacific Northwest history, and tourism economies, focusing on heritage preservation in communities navigating economic change. During her Master's in Anthropology with Museum Studies focus, she has concentrated on material culture studies and spatial anthropology, examining how objects acquire meaning through their physical contexts and exhibition environments.
