Current Research
Carolina's research focuses on Salvadoran migration (post-civil war) to the DMV (Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia). Her interests are in migration, identity, and community building. Her methodology includes story-telling, ethnographies, and an intersection with visual anthropology.
