Alison is a 5th year student in the BS/MS combined degree program in biological anthropology and human paleobiology. Her research interests are in the evolution of language and is currently researching gray matter asymmetries in language regions of primate brains. She loves interdisciplinary research and has worked with hard tissue in the Paleoanthropology and Paleoecology Lab at GW, and she has experience with anthropometrics from her time working on the Human Biology Project at the Koobi Fora Field School in Kenya.
