    Letizia Alto (M.A. Med Anth 2004) is an attending physician at the Swedish Medical Center (Seattle, WA). Her M.D. (2008) is from the University of Vermont.
    Robert Bayewitch (B.A. Anth & B.S. Zoology 1974) is a dentist in New York City.
    Marissa Chabon (M.A. Anth 2011) is project coordinator for clinical trials at Cogstate, a cognitive assessment and training company in New Haven, CT.
    Bophany Chea (B.S. Bio Anth-honors 2004) received her M.D. from GW in 2008 and is a board-certified pediatrician in Frederick, MD.
    John Doppelheuer (B.A. Anth 1974) is an obstetrician/gynecologist in Annandale, VA. He got his M.D. from GW in 1978.
    Lori Doss (B.A. 1999) is a registered nurse in Thomasville, NC.
    Julia Friederich (MA Anth-ID & Med Anth 2007) is working at the Pulmonary Hypertension Association in Silver Spring, MD, managing their international program.
    Glenn Geelhoed, M.D. (M.A. Anth 1995) is an alumnus of four different GW schools and a Professor in Surgery, International Medical Education, and Microbiology and Tropical Medicine at the GW Medical School. In addition to teaching, he works across the world to provide medical help, train doctors, and establish clinics. One of his current projects involves bringing together the warring peoples in Sudan through marathons. He does this by providing medical equipment and training as a reward.

    Karishma Katti (B.A. Anth 2010) received her M.D. degree from the GW Medical Center in 2014 and is a resident at the Cohen Children's Medical Center in Manhasset, NY.
    Emmanouil Kapetanakis (B.S. Bio & B.A. Anth 1997) is a cardiac surgeon at Sotiria Hospital for Thoracic Diseases in Athens, Greece.
    Agheigh Nicky Lankerani (B.A. Anth 1999) is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in treating children. She works at The Family Center and The Ross Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (Washington, DC).
    Kathleen Maley (B.A. Anth 1974) is a physician in family practice in El Rito, NM.
    Patricia Ochoa-Werschulz (B.S. Bio Anth & Speech & Hrg 2004) is a speech-language pathologist at Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey. She earned an M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from Kean University in 2008.

    Chelsea Rohrer-Dann (B.S. Bio Anth-honors 2007) is a registered nurse in acute care at the Children’s Hospital Center (Washington, DC).  She received her B.S.N. from GW in 2014.
    Samantha Shlakman (B.A. Anth-honors 2000) is a board-certified forensic psychiatrist practicing in the DC area. She received both M.P.H. and M.D. degrees from GW.
    Robert G. Stephens (B.A. Anth 1966) is a psychiatrist working in Athens, GA. He got his M.D. from the Medical School of Georgia.
    Sophie Thibodeau (M.A. Anth 2010) is a registered nurse and a student nurse practitioner at the Community Health Center of Cape Cod. Her nursing degree is from Boston College (2012).
    Lee Tuanquin (B.S. Bio Anth-honors 2001) is a radiation oncologist practicing at the St. Joseph Cancer Center in Reading, PA. He received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine.
    Jasmin Valentin (B.A. Anth 1997, M.A. Anth 2001) is an internist in Baltimore, MD.  Her M.D. (2006) is from St. George's University.
    Anita Vin (B.S. Bio Anth-honors 2005) is a resident in ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. She received her M.D. from Northwestern University in 2009.
